We are on a mission to bring back control of Congress to the People. Being elected to Congress has turned into a job to be protected instead of a commitment to serve constituents. It's time now to implement controls and eliminate the self-serving practices.
Therefore, we are proposing the Congressional Accountability and Reform Act (CARA). A framework to bring control of Congress back to the People.
They are servants of the People, they think we serve them. They will argue and complain how this limits their ability to govern, but they haven't governed in decades.
Using a Government Shutdown for political purposes is wrong and only serves them. It's punishing children and families, the military, air traffic control, and government contracts and employees.
ALL WHILE THEY CONTINUED TO BE PAID!
It's time to stop this madness before it becomes their standard way of operating Congress...on the backs of the People.
